Anchored Knees

A refreshing gin cocktail with a bright citrus profile and subtle sweetness from honey syrup.

 

Ingredients:

  • 2 ounces Anchored Spirits Gin
  • ¾ ounce freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • ½ ounce honey syrup (see instructions below)
  • Garnish: Lemon twist

 

Instructions:

 

Prepare the Honey Syrup:

Combine equal parts honey and hot water in a small container (e.g., ½ cup each).
Stir until fully blended and let it cool. Store in the refrigerator for up to a week.

Mix the Cocktail:

Add gin, lemon juice, and honey syrup to a cocktail shaker.

Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for about 10–15 seconds until the mixture is well-chilled.

 

Strain and Serve:

Strain the cocktail into a chilled coupe or rocks glass (with or without ice, depending on your preference).

 

Garnish:

Twist a lemon peel over the drink to release its oils, then drop it into the glass or rest it on the rim for a polished finish.
